I use Twitter a great deal. It is very useful for getting real answers to problems from real people. It is also a good way to keep in touch with people and send out group texts for the price of one. It is also good for meeting new people from your area whom have similar interests.
Tunk and I decided it would be fun to write an IRC bot that posts from a channel to twitter and also posts twitter updates from certain people back to that channel.
Madmax finally realised this bot and built it in python. He based the code on my Thompson bot. Hopefully the code should soon be available on github.
